Armour is something that i have always had an interest in but have always shied away from building cos i think it takes a lot of skill to do them justice.....i look at some of the stuff produced by some of you armour guys and i just think 'how the f did he do that?'
but ive been playing around with some of those scrappers i aquired a while back using them as guinea pigs to try things on and i thought the time is right to have a go..........
kit is Revells 1/35 SU-100 Tank Destroyer.........basically a T34 chassis with a big box on top and attach the biggest gun possible ...........used during the last year of WW2 but still being used in some countries up til the '70s
learnt a lot playing about with this....tried to keep to the 'less is more' approach but i over did the dust wash and even washing it off wouldnt get rid of it adequatly

....its easy to see how you can get carried away and over do it ...........need more practice with the 'mud'.....not as easy as i thought it was going to be
usual standardised Escale unit of comparison
but i thoroughly enjoyed doing this and am thinking about what might be next already
The dogs philosophy on life. If you cant eat it, hump it or fight it,........ Pee on it and walk away!!
